It is with great regret that we must announce that all Dore USA operations and appointments had to be suspended. The US operations have continued to require substantial funding to subsidize the cost of the program and that funding source is no longer available.

We are searching for new funding alternatives or ways in which to deliver the program locally so that the service continues as soon as possible. We have been in discussion about finding alternative locations for Dore facilities. Going forward, we anticipate that it will be far more common for these facilities to be within schools, sports facilities and medical centers. If you have suggestions regarding this for your community please let me know.

The success of the product has been quite remarkable, as many of you will have seen. Steps are being taken to ensure that the crucial research program that is being progressed continues exactly as planned. Our hope remains that when the results of that are published it will start the process of influencing government policy – and this will accelerate our plans that the program ultimately reaches everyone that needs it.

There has been a tremendous outpouring of support encouraging us and offering assistance in finding ways to continue services for the existing clients. For this we are really grateful.
